The client was an OEMÂ motorcycle parts and accessories store with a small brick and mortar location in North Carolina, located at the entrance to the great riding roads in that area. They had an existing Bigcommerce store that was essentially abandoned, but they were paying monthly for the managed solution.
Desmo Studio was contracted to develop a Magento Ecommerce website using a theme provided by Flying Chairs. We suggested a host to fit their projected traffic and budget, and configured the hosting. Using best practices and in-house tools we created SEO standards for content and metadata which were then applied using the content provided by Flying Chairs.
The theme had a large footprint. Luckily we were able to use Gordon Lesti’s outstanding (and free) Full Page Cache extension to give performance a bump.
We configured and integrated Google Analytics for the customer and trained them on product maintenance and order processing.
An unanticipated OEM (EBR) insolvency prevented the solution from launching.
