The client was a political candidate who decided mid-election to shift his focus from running for a State office to a Congressional seat. Desmo Studio was originally contracted to simply update the existing state site to national references, but content and campaign finance compliance issues required started from scratch. We went with the original CMS (WordPress) but rethemed it, and integrated Piryx for donation compliance. We also created integrated Facebook and Twitter channels and utilized MailChimp for email marketing. The original State site was well-indexed, so we redirected all the urls to maintain the juice.
An update late in the campaign integrated NGP VAN Fundraising and Compliance software.
